[ Katsuki immediately feels himself become comforted by the idea of having Izuku stay for the evening again. Almost as if his body naturally responds to Izuku's oncoming presence with a sort of tiredness that he can't quite figure out himself. A welcoming sort of tiredness he doesn't feel with anyone else. ]
[ Katsuki is over-eager, and that's shown by the way food is already done before Izuku enters his home. He's long since had the key numbers to enter the Pro Hero's apartment, and with Katsuki knowing Izuku is on his way. He hopes the dumb head is comfortable enough to slip into his place without needing to ask to be let in.
Not that Katsuki would fault him, Izuku was always the sort to try to be kind and comely. It's a big reason why the man fell for him in the first place, trying so hard to deny it for the longest time at that. He's here now, denying it far less but far more outright with it when he wants to be.
That's why dinner is done with the table freshly set up, and Katsuki is in the kitchen whipping up a dessert for them to eat after. Pouring the freshly whipped cream into a bag so he can use it as filling for the pastries he spent the day making. ]
[Izuku is also over eager and his students notice it. He tries to keep them on task but more often than not one of them is asking why he’s blushing. The end of the work day can’t come fast enough.
He heads home first to change out of his suit into something more comfortable and to pack an overnight bag.
He stops at a konbini after and picks up a couple of their favorite drinks before he heads straight to Katsuki’s. He hesitates outside only a moment before he uses the key the other gave him to let himself inside]
He slips his shoes off and puts on the slippers Katsuki bought for him. He’s got a pair for the blonde at his place as well.]
It smells very good in here. Have you been cooking all day?
[he carries his bag in with him intending to drop it in the bedroom and stops when he sees the table all set. Warmth floods him and he feels tears prickle his eyes.]
Wow, Kaachan. This is amazing!
[he drops his bag beside the sofa distractedly and heads to the kitchen to set the drinks on the counter and greet Katsuki properly. He’s smiles bright and soft at the other as he leans in for a hug when his hands are free and pushes up on his tiptoes for a kiss]

[ Oh that's it - it's over. Have you ever seen a powerful man fold over? Katsuki does; he folds over and out like a little display of neatly tucked origami paper into every corner. The blonde feels the way his feelings melt through him like syrup being poured on the top of a fluffy pancake. Everything about what he feels in the moment is sweet, and he's already a sentimental person, and hearing the way Izuku comes in saying that he's home. Makes Katsuki's feelings take a whirlwind trip from delighted to hear that he's finally here, to being steadfast in acknowledging that Izuku is comfortable enough to say something like that out loud - even if it was a mistake.
What feelings are bursting inside him, though, never show on Katsuki's face. He's a stoic man who often doesn't realize how his face rests in a haphazardly angry way. Unfortunate, yes, but the crimson colors of his eyes never fail to turn into gentle autumn hue when Izuku comes around.
Now pressed against his chest, Katsuki smoothly slides the pastry bag out of his palm and moves it so he takes hold of either side of Izuku's hips. With a slight twist of his own hips, he pulls Izuku in close, feeling how taut the man's hips are against his. It's warm, and everything about Izuku feels naturally right. It is, honestly, as if he was always meant to line himself against Katsuki and let him steal the other's breath away.
Which is presently what he does, leaning forward and nimbly brushing his fine lips against the light pink colors of Izuku's own. Pulling them in so as to suck in their breaths together, and breathe out only when he wants to return an even deeper kiss into him. The chef of the kitchen does, not letting go. Following where Izuku's head might go bit by bit. Canting his head in a yearning sort of dance from one side to the next. Letting the warmth of their lips engulf each other by pulling and peeling against them. Tugging them playfully open until Katsuki's own tongue could flicker along it.
Maybe after a few promptly intimate kisses where the sounds of lips smacking quaintly against each other fill the kitchen, does he finally stop and says - ]
[Izuku gasps in surprise when hands grip his hips and pull him in closer as the kiss deepens. What he'd intended to be a soft peck turns into something passionate and intense. Something that makes his toes curl in his slippers and his hands thread into the soft blonde hair at the back of Katsuki's head.

[He leans up for another kiss but doesn't let it get to out of hand this time because Katsuki spent a lot of time on their meal and he wants to eat it before he has dessert. Because that looks amazing too. And then after that...he's going to devour the blonde man before him. Yeah. That's a solid plan.]
I'll go wash my hands and put my things in your room, then we can eat?
[ That moan nearly tires him out, fluttering his eyes as bouts of anticipatory pleasure wiggle their way through out his chest. Causing a smile that can be felt between the kisses he gives to Izuku. The pardoning pause that is set is important because, as much as Katsuki would fuck the ever-living daylights out of Izuku. He enjoys his time with the other when they are together like this, about to enjoy dinner, relaxing, maybe even take a bath, and then lie down for bed. ]
Yeah. [ Those tears, though, always having tears despite how far things have come. Izuku leans in for another kiss, and Katsuki moves the palm of his left hand over to cup along where the scar of Izuku's cheek swallowed up his once charming freckles. A thumb nimbly dresses under his eyes, pushing upwards to wipe away any tears that had managed to push past their ducts. ] Tsk, cut that shit.
[ He says it in such a sultry and kind way, despite how much he means those words, but also says them lovingly to the other. ] None of that, wash your hands, and let's eat.
[ A drawn pause as he lets space come inbetween them. ]
[Izuku lets out a fond sort of exasperated sound when Katsuki tells him to cut out the crying bit even if leans into the others touch on his cheek. He knows the other is teasing him, it makes him feel warm inside.] I'll stop crying so easily about the same time you stop being grouchy about it.
[His own reply is just as soft and loving. He likes Katsuki exactly as he is, temper and all. When the other offers to serve them he nods and pulls back.]
Thanks, I'll be right back. [He shifts away and heads back to grab his bag and put it in the bedroom. He washes his hands and then returns just as plates are being set down. He takes his usual seat and smiles at the other. Dinner really does look amazing]

[ Yeah, that'll never happen. Katsuki will remain a grouchy mess of a fool for the rest of his life; he just hopes Izuku never tires of him being like this. He at least knows, for sure, he'll never tire of Izuku. He'll repeat himself as many times as needed, if it means Izuku is going to always look at him the way that he does - just like that. ]

He reaches for his chopsticks and thanks Katsuki for the food as he tucks in reaching for a bit of the pork and giving a happy hum and a little wiggle in his seat when he tastes it.]

[He smiles brightly and reaches for another piece when his boyfriend mentions being surprised he didn't stay late at the school. Izuku looks down at his rice bowl as a small, but deeply happy and sentimental smile blooms on his face before he looks across the table at the other]
We had a date. Sure, the students are important and I always want to be there to help them when they need it...but Kaachan is also important. We don't get to do this enough and well....I was really excited.
